Walsh for The Dogs of the British Islands, being a series of Illustrations and articles on the Points of their Various Breeds. c1878 This is probably the most sought after edition on the Breeds of Dogs, as the illustrations by A. Baker are very life-like. In most engravings the dogs are shown with a background. Whilst a similar publication, Breeds of Dogs, was published by Dalziel in 1885 the Walsh images are much harder to find.
